Hawthorne is your go-to destination for events of all kinds. With five bars located on four floors, we can host events of all sizes from casual birthday parties to happy hours to game watches to large corporate events, fundraisers to engagement and wedding parties. We specialize in making events vibrant and fun. We customize food and drink menus for every event and can cater to your group's needs and budget. There is never a fee to rent out our space but a minimum revenue spend may be required to reserve a private area. All of our floors have multiple large plasma TVs, sconces that display a wide spectrum of colors, and availability for a DJ and/or live entertainment. We're happy to quickly answer any questions you have about potential events and we make planning stress-free. 

The rooftop, our premier event space, is fully enclosed with a retractable glass ceiling. It offers a sweeping view of the city, with views of the Washington Monument and the Capitol. The rooftop has two bar areas and is great for cocktail style events. It can be rented out separately or combined with our 3rd floor, which has its own bar, DJ booth, dance floor and bathrooms. Our 2nd floor features a large bar, private bathrooms, and a large space for seated dinner, brunches or cocktail-style events. Lastly, our first floor is our most private space and features a private bar, custom leather banquettes and unique sconces.
